Back on Blogger

Well, friends; it has been almost a year since I've posted here, having switched over to MySpace.com; which I thought was really good and cool, however, there has been an infestation of wackos, losers, and if you have been reading the news, sex offenders who have duped a few under-legal aged girls to play hanky panky with them. How sick is that??? Anyway, I am back here, where REAL people hang out (among them, Lydia Cornell, a big hello to you). As Lydia has mentioned in her blog, this country is not in good shape right now...ya think, when you have an illegal war going on, a corrupt President who's twice as bad as Nixon was in his day, and record high gasoline prices which in L.A. is nearing $3 a gallon once again. I came across a gentleman at a McDonald's in Los Angeles a few days ago, and he was wearing a T-shirt. On one side, it said "Damn, I miss Bill Clinton", and on the other side it said "When Bill Clinton was our President, gasoline prices were 89 cents a gallon". That is true; prices were less than a dollar a gallon in the 1990s, and sadly, those days may never be seen again. What this country needs to do is for the people to stand up to this idiot running this country and tell him to get those troops the hell out of Iraq and put an end to these unbelievable high crude oil prices. You see a coincidence here? Bush was an oilman before he went into politics, and as you can imagine, all of these oilmen in Texas are enjoying life now, with crude oil over $65 a barrell right now. Oh let's also mention illegal wiretapping, and that idiotic law regarding illegal immigrants. As I close this blog, ask yourself what Ronald Reagan echoed 26 years ago: are you better off than you were in 2000?
