RD Thoughts - Friday Night Lights

As you can imagine, I am watching Friday Night Lights on NBC and typing this at the same time. Old saying; jack of all trades, jane of none.

Speaking of Friday night lights, I want to point this post directly at the Eldorado High School football program up in Las Vegas.

The Sundevils are off to their worst start in quite some time, 0 and 4. They have been outscored by a ratio of three touchdowns to a field goal; and folks, numbers like this is not going to get it done. Last Friday, Vegas beat them in the Battle Of Sunrise Mountain game, 42 to absolutely nothing.

Plain and simple folks, Eldorado has made numerous mistakes on the field, turnovers cashed into points, penalties, and so on. But have heart, folks, they are not the worst team in Vegas right now. The Clark Chargers squad has lost 36 games in a row. Rancho is not faring any better, 0 and 5 as well.

As you can tell, I've grown up into football. Now I'm catching the game highlights, with the great Pete Arbogast calling the action.
